I can't wait to support you and your children to thrive with Hands on Learning and Montessori SKOOL

I know that parenting is hard, but it doesn't need to lonely or confusing..

Together we can be Empowered with Montessori knowledge put into action..

Welcome to a place where embracing individuality and fostering social-emotional growth through hands-on learning isn't just a mission—it's a passion.

With a background grounded in Montessori pedagogy, supported by comprehensive qualifications ranging from AMI Diplomas for ages 3-12 to specialized early childhood education, I've dedicated my career to crafting enriching learning experiences.

My approach intertwines the timeless principles of Montessori with the uniqueness of each learner, ensuring that both children and adults not only meet but exceed their potential in an environment that values curiosity, creativity, and community.

Although my approach is built upon strong Montessori Foundations, I have used this knowledge in action within a wide variety of educational settings, classrooms and in my own home often alongside very mainstream mindsets and settings.

What I know for sure is that Montessori Philosophy and particularly understanding the developmental needs of children alongside the HOW to implement has been my constant source of inspiration and positive outcomes for children and their families.

And now, I can't wait to share everything I know so you and your family can also thrive...

What drives my passion for my work?

Here's a glimpse of my vision ...

My passion for education, particularly the Montessori method, has been the driving force behind my journey. With a belief that every individual's learning process is unique, I embarked on a professional path that allowed me to embrace and support these differences.

Holding AMI diplomas for both the 3-6 and 6-12 year age groups, coupled with my background in communication and early childhood education, I've always aimed to create an environment where hands-on learning isn't just encouraged; it's celebrated.

This belief led me to establish a business dedicated to providing resources and strategies for teachers and parents alike, fostering a community where every child's needs are understood and met.

The balance of supporting others wanting to meet children's needs is a personal mission. Witnessing firsthand the transformation in children who receive education tailored to their individual needs fueled my desire to reach a wider audience.

My work involves curating high-quality resources, crafting organizational tools, and offering insights into curriculum mapping - all designed to promote social and emotional well-being alongside academic growth.

It's about creating a space where educators and parents can come together to learn, share, and grow, ensuring that each child's journey is as unique as they are.

My approach is not purely theoretical either, day to day you can find me juggling a teaching career, parenting two teenage boys with neurodiverse needs and supporting my community with resources, tools and support so that together we can be each other's village and support us all to thrive by honouring both our own and our children's needs, interests and uniqueness.

On a personal note, my hobbies and interests reflect my professional values of creativity, continuous learning, and community. From crafting to reading historical non-fiction and enjoying family games night, each activity adds depth to my understanding of individuality and social interaction.

These personal passions not only provide me with relaxation but also inspire my professional work, allowing me to bring fresh perspectives and ideas into the services I offer. It's this blend of personal enthusiasm and professional dedication that shapes the heart of this community.

Slowing Down...

Life can often feel like a hectic mess of juggling tasks, emotions, and endless to-dos, but I’ve found that slowing down and simply observing can bring everything back into focus.

As a Montessori educator and parent, watching a child’s quiet determination or curiosity reminds me to pause, breathe, and appreciate the beauty in small moments.

These grounding pauses not only bring clarity but also deepen my understanding of how children grow and thrive—something I love helping other parents and teachers discover through Montessori philosophy.

What moments help you find your balance amidst the chaos?

Follow Your Own Path ..

I get it—life can feel like a whirlwind of expectations, and I’ve been there. When someone first called me resourceful, inventive, and insightful, I was walking on air all day.

But truthfully, I’ve never quite fit the mold others had in mind for me—too quirky, too much, and sometimes just too different.

Juggling life as a Montessori educator, parent, writer, and woman in my forties from the quiet suburbs of Perth, I’ve learned that embracing individuality is where the magic happens.

It’s in being unapologetically myself that I’ve found the most joy—and it’s this same confidence I love helping parents and teachers discover as they navigate their own unique paths alongside the children in their lives.

The Road Less Travelled ..

Life rarely follows a straight path, and neither have I. As a Montessori educator, parent, and creative thinker, I’ve embraced a journey full of twists, turns, and a healthy dose of curiosity.

From designing hands-on learning experiences to supporting families and educators, I’ve found my passion in uncovering what makes each child—and each person—unique.

Whether I’m writing, teaching, or exploring the wonders of a child’s imagination, I believe in slowing down to truly see the world through their eyes. It’s this perspective that drives me to help others find clarity, connection, and confidence in creating environments where children (and their adults) can thrive.
